As a Business Intelligence Engineer II within the Global Accounts Receivable Data Analytics (GARDA) team, you will play a pivotal role in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial analytics unit. We are in search of an exceptionally skilled BI Engineer with a visionary approach and strong analytical capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for creating some of the largest reporting structures in the Accounts Receivable BI domain, ultimately driving business growth through data analytics. This presents a unique opportunity to build one of the most substantial Finance Operations BI ecosystems in the present-day landscape. Key Responsibilities
- Utilize big data for data analytics to solve real-world business challenges.

As a BI Engineer, your role will involve spearheading the development of reporting and analytics across Amazon's global portfolio of businesses and processes. You will generate reports and analyses to facilitate decision-making and metrics management. In this position, you will translate business challenges into data-centric problems, collaborate with other engineering teams to acquire necessary data, produce reports, and continually enhance data pipelines and transformations.
About the Team
Global Accounts Receivable manages all AR processes across Amazon's various businesses and regions. The Global AR Data Analytics (GARDA) team supports AR-related decision-making. GARDA's mission revolves around optimizing the Order-to-Cash cycle by offering timely data, insights, and predictions to our leadership and operations teams. In close collaboration with our stakeholders, we establish and implement uniform metrics, utilize data from a single, reliable source, deliver automated self-service standard reporting, and develop predictive analytics. Our ultimate goal is to actively contribute to the enhancement of Amazon's Free Cash Flow through value-added analytics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis and interpretation, including work with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar applications.
- Expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
- Strong ability to write complex SQL queries.
- Experience with statistical analysis tools like R, SAS, and Matlab.
- Competence in using SQL to extract data from databases or data warehouses, along with scripting skills in Python for data processing and modeling.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiarity with AWS solutions, including EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
- Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and the use of databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
