Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering), or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of relevant experience in data engineering or business intelligence roles.
Proficiency in relational databases, encompassing SQL queries, database design, and schema development.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math).
Experience with data warehouses, distributed data platforms, and data lakes.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to ascertain and delineate business data prerequisites.
Architect, create, and optimize the data infrastructure and develop Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to ensure accessibility for Business Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business users, enabling data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate closely with analysts to standardize and expand value-adding capabilities, encompassing data integrations, transformations, model features, and statistical and machine learning models.
Uphold the highest standards of data reliability, integrity, and governance, ensuring the availability of accurate, consistent, and credible datasets, business intelligence products, and analyses.
Engage with the analyst community, liaise with analysts to comprehend pivotal user journeys and identify inefficiencies in data sourcing, advocate for best practices, and provide guidance through analyst training sessions.
