What You'll Do
As a Senior Data Scientist at Adobe, your role is integral to driving data-driven decision-making and making a significant impact on our business. You will be responsible for the following:
- Selecting features and developing optimized classifiers using machine learning techniques.
- Conducting data mining using cutting-edge methods.
- Performing ad-hoc analysis and effectively communicating results to stakeholders.
- Creating automated anomaly detection systems and continuously monitoring their performance.
- Offering valuable insights into business performance and user behavior on a regular basis.
- Building predictive models across various stages of the customer lifecycle, including LTV (Lifetime Value), Churn prediction, cross-selling, up-selling, personalization, and more.
What You Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in quantitative analysis, preferably in the fields of e-commerce, strategy, or management consulting.
- An MS in Analytics or a related degree is preferred.
- Proficiency in defining complex business problems, collecting necessary data, analyzing results, and presenting compelling arguments.
- Strong analytical skills to articulate key business and financial implications and business impact.
- Proficiency in querying and manipulating extensive datasets using SQL-like languages (Hive/ADX preferred), Python, R, etc.
- Experience with Web Analytics Tools like Adobe Analytics.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Power BI.
- Expertise in building, productizing, and maintaining predictive models.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or any other scripting language.
