The Adobe Document Cloud Services team is seeking a talented and highly motivated engineer with a strong technical background to join our high-caliber, fast-paced team. We are looking for an engineer with extensive experience in developing low-latency, high-performance distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with architects, product management, and other engineering teams to establish the technical vision and roadmap for the team.
- Design, develop, and test large-scale, low-latency, high-volume microservices that handle millions of daily requests.
- Define and champion best practices in software development, engineering, and operations for the team.
- Explore and adopt new open-source technologies, and contribute back to open-source projects.
- Mentor and assist junior team members in reaching their full potential.
Must-Have Skills:
- Experience in designing and developing software systems.
- Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.E./B. Tech.) in Computer Science or an equivalent engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in Java and C++.
- Proven expertise in distributed systems and the development of RESTful services.
- Experience with Queue tools such as Kafka, SQS, SNS, etc.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
- Experience with caching and databases, including SQL, NoSQL, Redis, etc.
- Proven experience in constructing highly scalable distributed systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.JS, etc.
- Experience with technical operations and CI/CD.
- Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Docker, Mesos, and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring systems like NewRelic, DataDog, Grafana, etc.
