Responsibilities:
As a frontend engineer, you will play an essential role in our close-knit team of dedicated problem solvers. Your responsibilities include:
- Creating video experiences that are meticulously designed and rewarding for users.
- Collaborating with web, design, and product teams to ensure product goals align with delivered features or services.
- Crafting experiences with a strong focus on user needs and compliance with accessibility standards.
- Collaborating with the product development team to innovate and solve complex problems.
- Maintaining code standards related to quality, privacy, accessibility, security, and documentation.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in front-end web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Usability Testing).
- Proficiency in using a modern JavaScript Framework (React, Vue, Angular).
- Strong working knowledge of interfacing with REST APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to debug and troubleshoot JavaScript and UI/CSS issues, with an understanding of optimizations for high-performance user experiences.
Bonus Credit for:
- Familiarity with building rich multimedia experiences on the web.
- Experience in developing features and experiences for large-scale, cross-browser applications across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Proficiency with TypeScript.
- Understanding of CI and CD pipelines in the development cycle.
- Experience in building accessible applications adhering to WCAG and ADA specifications.
