We are currently seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our team, dedicated to driving innovative enhancements for our engineering teams.

In This Role, You Will:

• Develop and deploy features and capabilities on a daily basis within a highly scalable, globally distributed environment.
• Collaborate within an open and inclusive work environment alongside experienced engineers, architects, product managers, and designers.
• Conduct code reviews, prioritizing readability, testing patterns, documentation, reliability, security, and performance.
• Mentor and elevate the skills of your colleagues through formal and informal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Ensure comprehensive visibility, error reporting, and monitoring of high-performance backend services.
• Participate in Agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and showcase demo sessions.

Your Background:

• 1-3+ years of experience in building and developing backend applications.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in crafting and implementing highly scalable and performant RESTful micro-services.
• Fluent in a modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Go, Scala, Python, etc.).
• Competency in a database technology (e.g., RDBMS like Oracle or Postgres and/or NoSQL like DynamoDB or Cassandra).
• Genuine passion for collaboration, coupled with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge and understanding of the SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS industry, with hands-on experience of public cloud offerings (AWS, GAE, Azure).
• Familiarity with cloud architecture patterns and a dedication to producing high-quality software.
