What You Get to Do in This Role:
- Contribute to the Development of Security Analytics: You will play a pivotal role in constructing and enhancing our security analytics program. Your work will directly influence the efficiency and effectiveness of our Security Organization.
- Lead Cross-Team Analytics Projects: Assume responsibility for managing cross-team analytics projects, collaborating with colleagues from various departments. Your projects will significantly impact the security organization's overall performance.
- Optimize Tools and Platforms: Engage in the expansion and enhancement of essential tools and platforms to meet the growing demand for analytics in our rapidly evolving security organization.
- Collaborate Across Levels: Interact with a diverse range of end-users, from individual team members to senior leadership. Your objective is to drive the implementation of effective analytics solutions that address security challenges.
- Machine Learning Integration: Explore, recommend, and implement new machine learning capabilities across the organization. You will have access to various tools and training resources to support your initiatives.
- Stay Current with Data Science and AI Trends: Continuously analyze current trends in data science and AI. Apply your insights to expand and enhance our processes, tools, and capabilities in the security domain.
- Global Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with professionals at all levels, collaborating with teams worldwide in different locations. Your ability to work within a global network will be crucial to your success in this role.
Qualifications
In order to excel in this role, we require someone who has:
- A Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI.
- Knowledge of or experience working with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehousing or ETL tools.
- 0-2 years of experience in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with machine learning, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
- The ability to quickly investigate, learn, and work with new applications and tools.
- Fundamentals in databases and analytics.
- Experience in planning and implementing project roadmaps.
- Comprehensive communication, writing, and presentation skills to communicate with individuals at all levels (from entry level to executive).
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills to manage various projects of varying scales simultaneously.
- Self-motivated passion for creating new solutions and maintaining existing projects.
- Proficiency in leveraging a wide range of technology tools and solutions to automate processes and support a variety of fast-growing and changing business needs.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills with empathy and social awareness, enabling successful collaboration with people and groups from various cultural backgrounds and locations worldwide.
- Nice-to-have experience with JavaScript, Tableau, and the ServiceNow Platform.
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $95,490 - $138,510, in addition to equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation, and benefits. Sales positions typically include a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay mentioned is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time-off plan, and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation depends on the geographic location of the role and is subject to change based on the work location. For those working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions in that geographical area; please reach out to your recruiter for additional details.
