Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our team at HARMAN International, a global leader in designing and engineering connected products and solutions for consumers, automakers, and enterprises. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining data pipelines on AWS and Databricks, contributing to the creation of cutting-edge solutions in the fields of audio, visual, and infotainment systems, as well as enterprise automation solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain data pipelines on AWS and Databricks.
- Utilize Python and other relevant technologies to engineer and orchestrate batch data pipelines using AWS Glue Workflows.
- Work with AWS Essentials including S3, IAM, EC2, and Lambda.
- Collaborate on the development of streaming pipelines using AWS Kinesis.
- Utilize a tech stack that includes AWS, Databricks, Glue, Python, PySpark, and DBT for ETL development.
- Demonstrate strong skills in SQL.
- Understand data, systems, and end-to-end data processes within your functional area.
- Ability to work with agile delivery methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- Previous hands-on professional experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines on AWS and Databricks.
- Coding proficiency in Python.
- Good working knowledge of AWS Essentials such as S3, IAM, EC2, and Lambda.
- Experience in engineering and orchestrating batch data pipelines using AWS Glue Workflows.
- Knowledge of streaming pipelines using AWS Kinesis.
- Tech stack expertise in AWS, Databricks, Glue, Python, PySpark, and DBT.
