What You’ll Do?

• Querying the Database: Utilizing SQL to run queries on ShareChat's analytical engine built on Redshift.
• Scripting: Crafting scalable scripts to retrieve or modify data from API endpoints.
• Analytical Skills: Handling large volumes of data related to user behavior on ShareChat. Analyzing data to derive meaningful conclusions is essential.
• Critical Thinking: Identifying trends and patterns in data to generate new insights based on findings.
• Attention to Detail: Recognizing that data requires precision. Ensuring vigilance in analysis to arrive at accurate conclusions.

Who Are You?

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics is preferred.
• Demonstrated work experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
• Technical expertise in data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
• Proficiency in reporting packages (e.g., Business Objects), databases (e.g., SQL), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
• Familiarity with statistics and experience using statistical packages for dataset analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
