We are currently in search of a skilled professional to join our team in the role of Data Analyst/Engineer.
Responsibilities:
The Markets and Securities Services (MSS) COO Transformation Office is dedicated to driving business change and achieving transformation outcomes efficiently, minimizing day-to-day impact. Our focus includes promoting the use of trusted data sources and cultivating a data-centric culture.
As part of MSS COO Transformation Office, you will:
- Contribute to the journey of making data highly available, easily discoverable, secure, and interoperable across various applications and tech stacks, collaborating with different business areas.
- Participate in COO transformation initiatives, fostering an inclusive culture, and providing learning opportunities for skill development.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail, communicate effectively, and maintain a high level of organization.
- Develop records management processes and policies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance process efficiency and automation.
- Establish and manage automated data processes.
- Evaluate and implement external services and tools to support data validation and cleansing.
- Produce and track key performance indicators.
- Develop and maintain reporting processes, ensuring data quality through monitoring and audits.
- Liaise with external and internal clients to comprehend data content thoroughly.
- Gather, understand, and document detailed business requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets related to the employer's business.
- Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools.
- Create dashboards, graphs, and visualizations.
- Mine and analyze large datasets, draw valid inferences, and present insights to management using reporting tools.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Working knowledge of Qliksense, Python, Tableau, R, SQL, VBA.
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel.
- Strong communication skills.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Good to have:
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
- Experience working with Hadoop.
- Experience in a cloud and big data environment.
- Familiarity with Data Mesh Environment (Hadoop).
- Visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Looker, Spotfire).
- Experience in a cloud and big data environment (Snowflake, Azure, Amazon Redshift, AWS, GCP).
- Experience with data lakes and data warehousing (ETL).
