Job Overview:
Are you interested in taking on a leadership role in the field of data analytics at JP Morgan Chase? We are seeking a Vice President for our Consumer and Community Banking division to lead our Data Analytics Automation Center of Excellence (CoE) team. In this role, you will contribute to solving data and reporting challenges within the bank, aligning with our data modernization efforts to deliver substantial business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Possess prior experience as a data architect or a reporting lead within a global, large-scale organization.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
- Engage in senior-level interactions to understand problems, design solutions, and advocate for innovative ideas that create a meaningful impact.
- Showcase a track record of delivering impactful projects in the data and reporting domain.
- Exhibit proficiency in various coding and data platforms, including AWS, Teradata, SQL, Python, Alteryx, Tableau, and others.
- Capable of crafting compelling business proposals, complete with cost assessments and implementation roadmaps.
- Proven experience in managing large projects and effectively communicating across organizational hierarchies, both horizontally and vertically, with colleagues ranging from analysts to Managing Directors.
Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:
- A 10+ years of relevant experience.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
- Hands-on experience in coding and process automation for data sourcing, transformation, and analysis from diverse data sources, including structured and unstructured data.
- Proficiency with standard data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx.
- Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively to gain buy-in from stakeholders across different job functions.
Preferred Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior leaders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
- A solid understanding of AWS, Teradata, and Alteryx.
