About the Role:
As part of the Finance Business Intelligence team at Google, your role will revolve around leveraging data to guide business and product decisions across the organization. Using your technical proficiency, business insight, and creativity, you will construct tools for automating reporting and generating insights, enabling clients to swiftly and accurately assess the performance of key business products and processes. Past experience in managing finance systems projects, especially emphasizing business intelligence and data-driven insights through reporting, will prepare you well for this role. From project inception to delivery, you will ensure that your reporting provides high-quality and pertinent data to intelligently foster business growth. Additionally, you should possess extensive knowledge of key financial systems, including Oracle and Hyperion, and have experience with various business intelligence tools and platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Establish a Finance Data Science, Machine Learning hub in India by defining the outlook, strategy, objective key results, and clear responsibilities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with analysts, engineers, and program managers to develop and implement AI/ML solutions.
- Enhance machine learning scalability, usability, and performance through modeling techniques.
- Develop and expand reusable analytic libraries for finance and business use cases, communicating results to peers and leaders.
- Advocate for processes, standards, and engineering practices, while coaching junior members and sharing knowledge with the broader team.
