Functional Overview:
Accertify, a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Express, is a leading provider of fraud prevention, chargeback management, and payment gateway solutions for online merchants worldwide. As a part of the Accertify Fraud Decision Sciences team in CFR, this role focuses on developing industry-leading Decision Science Solutions and Data Products for Accertify's clients. The aim is to enhance the efficiency of fraud solutions, automate decisions, reduce manual reviews, and explore new revenue streams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver fraud prevention solutions for Accertify’s clients.
- Stay informed about the latest fraud trends and industry challenges faced by Accertify clients.
- Drive modeling innovation by utilizing cutting-edge machine learning/AI techniques.
- Elevate Data Science through feature engineering using diverse client data to improve model risk discrimination and economic performance.
- Collaborate with Accertify colleagues to implement models and develop capabilities for more optimal decision-making and revenue generation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in Analytics/Modeling/Decision Science.

- Proficiency in Data Science/Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence techniques.
- Understanding of advanced statistical techniques and key model performance metrics.
- Knowledge of R, Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.
