About the Position
As a member of the PADS team, the Pod Member plays a crucial role in contributing technical expertise and inquisitiveness to drive the success of model-building projects for the business. This multifaceted role requires proficiency in Machine Learning, Data Extraction, Data Exploration, and Statistics. By combining these skills, the Pod Member will facilitate the delivery of accurate and ethical results within specified timelines. Responsibilities include justifying design decisions, engaging in challenging model purposes, and ensuring efficacy.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an HR Data Science Pod to deliver predictive and inferential models addressing business needs.
- Develop and execute project plans, constructing models and data-driven products.
- Deploy and maintain models, scrutinizing data sources and modeling approaches with an ethical and unbiased perspective.
- Quickly comprehend new data sources, extracting information efficiently for modeling and inference.
- Collaborate with technical teams to transition models from exploration to deployment.
- Apply Machine Learning and Statistical methods to optimize HR processes.
- Test models for fairness and bias, being mindful of potential biases in processes.
- Utilize MLOps infrastructure for building, deploying, and monitoring created models.
- Translate business problems into models that drive results.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in CS/Engineering, Statistics, STEM, or a Mathematical field.
- Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in Data Science.
- Proficiency in Python, NLP, statistical knowledge, ML & Azure ML or any cloud machine learning.
- Skills in Machine Learning (e.g., scikit-learn, PyTorch, Keras), Data Analysis (pandas), Data Extraction, Python and R programming, and command line usage.
Preferred Skills:
- Power BI, MySQL, Responsible AI, Confluence, Good Scripting Knowledge, SpaCy.
