Experience: 8 to 11 Yrs

Design and spearhead the development and implementation of solutions utilizing data science and advanced analytics to enhance value for a retail business. Manage multiple use cases simultaneously. Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze and model structured data, implementing necessary algorithms and software for analysis. Ensure continuous improvement in data science/Machine Learning (ML) by staying abreast of industry trends. Develop and advocate for ML process standards and best practices. Cultivate new capabilities in advanced analytics.

Technical Proficiency:

• Essential understanding of statistics with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in solving data science problems
• Extensive experience in multiple linear regression, logistic regression, clustering, random forests, forecasting, and mathematical optimization
• Proficiency in tools required for data science projects: SQL, Python, ML algorithms
• Expertise in deploying data science projects using Cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Ability to synthesize findings and insights, communicating effectively through visualization tools like Power BI

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Robust experience in exploratory data analysis, ML experiment design, statistical testing, and frameworks
• Proven track record in designing and scaling up data science solutions
• Familiarity with working in scrum teams using Agile tools like JIRA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical users
• Preference for experience in the Retail or Ecommerce domain
• Demonstrated leadership by mentoring or leading small teams of 2 to 4 members
