Using the Quartic Platform, SMEs can effortlessly develop and deploy AI and IIoT applications, elevating productivity and operational performance without the necessity for expertise in programming or data science. The Quartic Platform is trusted by Fortune 100 and 500 companies across pharmaceutical, food & beverage, CPG, and other sectors for applications such as process optimization, predictive maintenance, and energy optimization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms for the analysis of industrial datasets, offering insights specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing challenges.
  2. Design and optimize algorithms focusing on predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and process optimization to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend business challenges and transform them into data-driven solutions.
  4. Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to guide model development and problem-solving strategies.
  5. Create and maintain robust data pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
  6. Develop and refine data visualization tools to effectively communicate complex results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  7. Contribute to projects related to model interpretability, ensuring transparency and trust in AI solutions.
  8. Stay informed about the latest advancements in machine learning, particularly those applicable to small datasets and chemical analytics.

Qualifications:

  • 5-9 years of experience in AI and data science.
  • Minimum 1+ years in team leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in managing AI/ML product development.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques, including a deep understanding of mathematical principles behind techniques like hypothesis testing and logistic regression.
  • Experience in applying Bayesian optimization and utilizing decision trees is essential.
  • Master’s degree or higher in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, PyTorch).
  • Demonstrable experience in optimization techniques and their real-world application.
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with model interpretability frameworks and methods.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on complex tasks.
