About Us: We are in search of a dynamic and accomplished Data Scientist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Analytics Business Partners (ABP) and AI-product managers, understanding problem statements, data intricacies, and analytics insights essential for addressing business challenges. Your primary responsibility will involve developing and implementing cutting-edge analytics solutions, fostering fresh insights, and enhancing overall business value.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead innovation by researching and implementing state-of-the-art AI/ML techniques, constructing proof-of-concepts (POCs), and consistently exploring novel methods to enhance our analytics capabilities.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to establish a comprehensive understanding of data and address any associated quality issues.
- Conduct data cleansing, feature engineering, and exploratory data analysis to prepare data for modeling purposes.
- Collaborate with fellow data scientists in AAO and Asia factories to construct advanced statistical, AI, and ML models aligned with the specific problem at hand, optimizing for performance.
- Smoothly operationalize models from notebooks to customer pilot to production with the assistance of ML Engineers and Solution Architects in AAO.
- Present findings and recommendations to project stakeholders in a compelling manner, effectively communicating complex data and analytics insights.
- Lead and manage two or more ML projects with diverse cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Sciences, or Engineering).
- Bachelor's/Master's with 8+ years or PhD with 3+ years of experience in data science and machine learning.
- Solid theoretical understanding and hands-on experience in statistical data analysis, AI & ML techniques (e.g., generative text techniques, NLP/NLU/NLG, supervised and unsupervised modeling, Deep Learning, CNN, NLP, Time-series analysis), and common data analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Tensorflow, etc.).
- Proficiency in Database Technologies (SQL, NoSQL), Big Data Technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark), and Cloud Technologies (AWS, GCP).
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Positive attitude towards learning on-the-job and thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
Additional Information: Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in rigorous experimentation with large language models.
- Track record of publishing research papers and patents to establish thought leadership in the industry.
- Proven experience in applying reinforcement learning techniques to solve real-world problems.
- Inclination for self-learning, literature research, and active participation in relevant conferences to stay up-to-date with the latest technological advancements in the AI/ML space.
