Meet Our Team:

The India Strategy & Innovation team operates within the Global Supply department at Agoda. Collaborating closely with the Global Supply sales department in India, we aim to identify and optimize growth opportunities for accommodations supply. Our focus is on setting up experiments to measure and implement changes that contribute to the overall success of the company.

The Role:

As a Senior Analyst / Lead, your primary responsibility is to lead the analysis and provide necessary data visibility to identify growth opportunities for our hotel partners on the Agoda platform. You will play a pivotal role in using data to enhance transparency and efficiency for the Business Development teams on the ground, guiding them in expanding the business. Ensuring consistency in data for reporting, identifying value-added data, and making strategic business decisions are integral aspects of this role. Your role extends to delving into data to offer business insights, guide decision-making, and provide valuable inputs to drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and create reports and models for performance tracking and optimization, deriving recommendations from your analysis.
  • Develop, enhance, and streamline reports to aid team members and internal stakeholders in understanding business performance and identifying actionable insights.
  • Conduct independent ad-hoc analysis on business trends and results, translating and communicating findings to leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Provide input on ongoing projects and initiatives to meet business targets, collaborating with relevant teams to run and assess proposed actions.
  • Recommend new metrics, techniques, and strategies to improve team performance and measurement.
  • Sharpen analytical skills to better understand business and conversion drivers and optimize them.
  • Prepare and present high-quality weekly reports and business insights to leadership.
  • Work in a data-driven environment, employing creative thinking to implement solutions to unique challenges.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally in a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Business, Economics, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven track record of using data to measure performance and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using data.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), conveying complex messages clearly and convincingly.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
