About the Role:
The Performance & Insights (P&I) team is tasked with providing advertisers with campaign performance and insights. As a Senior Analyst in Performance & Insights Capability Development, you will play a crucial role in shaping Roundel's analytic capabilities. This includes advancing measurement and reporting processes to deliver more effective media plans and providing in-depth, actionable insights in post-campaign evaluations. Your focus will be on defining the role of media as a key Growth Driver through ROI and related analytics for our advertisers.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in Product, Strategy, Go-To-Market, and Sales, you'll contribute to innovative ideas, develop proofs of concepts, and assist in the development of solution roadmaps to scale and implement these solutions. Success in this role depends on your ability to merge deep analytics and insights experience in a retail and/or digital media context, consultative problem-solving, and effective collaboration within a matrixed, cross-functional structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and codify media performance measurement strategies: Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to establish capabilities and processes for best-in-class efficiency and effectiveness in Roundel's media performance.
Subject Matter Expert: Become the go-to expert in measuring the impact of marketing investments for advertisers using advanced analytical solutions and methods.
Deploy Measurement Solutions: Develop, deploy, and promote measurement solutions, including test/control experimentation, brand lift studies, econometric models, and research-based solutions.
Innovative Media Effectiveness Measurement: Identify and build new approaches to measure media effectiveness for various audiences, placements, and creative analyses.
Custom Analytics Projects: Support custom analytics projects to demonstrate the value of Roundel's media with advertisers that current analyst-facing products don't address.
Own and Create Processes: Establish processes enabling internal and external stakeholders to leverage Roundel data for initiatives like media mix modeling.
Monitor and Report Campaign Performance: Track and report campaign performance across relevant KPIs, including impressions, clicks, web visitors, video views, etc.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams in Product, Measurement, BII, and GTM to align on the measurement strategy.
Identify Automation Opportunities: Identify automation opportunities and technology/tool gaps, collaborating with product and business operations teams to find and implement solutions.
Contribute to Upskilling Efforts: Contribute to team upskilling efforts to familiarize the team with data products and new measurement methodologies.
About You:
- 4-5 years of working experience in digital advertising, client consulting, and/or retail analytics.
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Economics, or Engineering.
- Deep expertise in digital marketing performance measurement and campaign strategy, along with related KPIs.
- Hands-on experience in applied analytics, model building, and statistical method selection.
- Experience in new solution development, including media measurement and incrementality measurement through various lift studies.
- Intermediate (or higher) capabilities with SQL, R, and/or Python for data sourcing/organization and building initial models.
- Ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams.
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to influence peers, key stakeholders, and leaders.
- Expert in working in an agile environment (e.g., user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas).
- Strategic mindset and bias for action with a strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs, and driving business outcomes.
