As a member of the AWS Professional Services team, you will play a pivotal role in the transformational technology landscape, assisting global companies in leveraging a diverse range of services to run their mission-critical applications.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehend customer business needs and provide guidance on leveraging AWS AI/ML Services and Frameworks.
- Design MLOps workflows for data preparation, deployment, monitoring, and retraining of machine learning models.
- Enhance ML model reproducibility, auditing, and performance capabilities.
- Collaborate with sales and service teams, partner organizations, and customer stakeholders.
- Translate business challenges into ML problems and devise solutions for desired customer business outcomes.
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for evaluating machine learning models.
- Share best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public-speaking events.
- Represent AWS effectively within customer environments, engaging with technical and business teams.
- Identify workarounds for specific migration issues and automate solutions for recurring problems.
- Innovate and develop solutions for complex business and technology challenges.
- Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, partners, and customers.

Basic Qualifications:
- Over 15 years of overall experience in a technical position, with at least 5 years on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google, etc.).
- 6+ years of experience in technical architecture, design, deployment, and operations for AI platforms, standards, protocols, and devices.
- 6+ years of experience in predictive modeling, analysis, and predictive software development.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development using ML-related languages such as Python, TypeScript, and/or R.
- Proficiency in machine learning libraries like scikit-learn, Apache MxNet, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
- Experience in mentoring team members and providing guidance on machine learning and data modeling applications.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
- Experienced data scientist with a background in software engineering and development (Python, R, TypeScript, React, C/C++, or similar).
- Experience working with distributed systems and grid computing.
- Ability to develop experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes.
- Experience in AWS Platforms and Services.
- AWS Associate, Specialty, or Professional Certification.
- Experience with Agile execution.
- Track record of presenting at public events, contributing to open source projects, or writing technical articles.
