Job Overview
This role involves working as a Software Developer within the Core Pipeline Team of the Oracle Data Intelligence Platform (ODIP). The responsibilities include developing and supporting solutions primarily focused on Business Intelligence (BI) Applications for the cloud.
Key Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Core Java.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, and Rest-API.
- Hands-on experience in developing Rest Applications/Micro Services, specifically those designed for the cloud.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries and working with databases through Java (e.g., JDBC).
- Experience in multi-platform development, including UNIX-based platforms and Windows.
- Familiarity with Datawarehousing Fundamentals is advantageous.
- Any exposure to CICD, Jenkins, and GIT is a plus.

The department primarily focuses on Oracle Analytics for Applications and Oracle BI Applications.
Oracle Analytics for Applications, built on Oracle Analytics Cloud and powered by Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse Cloud, offers personalized application analytics, benchmarks, and machine learning-powered predictive insights across all line-of-business functions and business processes for Oracle Cloud Applications.
Oracle BI Applications, built on a sophisticated technology stack, leverage a state-of-the-art data integration platform and the industry’s most advanced analytical business intelligence platform. They are tightly integrated with Oracle’s leading Fusion Middleware platform and database.
Responsibilities
ODIP is experiencing rapid growth in terms of new functionality and scaling up of the customer base. As more features and customers are added, we seek engineers who can effectively contribute to design, development, and testing in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.
The role encompasses the following critical activities:
- Design, develop, troubleshoot/support Rest APIs/web services with integration with the database.
- Design, develop, and automate builds using Jenkins/CICD.
- Develop and support utilities for DevOps operations, including Docker, Kubernetes, Grafana, etc.
- Ability to work in an extremely fast-paced and challenging, global environment.
