Position Overview: As a Data Scientist at Netomi, you will play a pivotal role in driving NLP and machine learning projects. Your responsibilities will encompass the development of methodologies and solutions to meet technical, analytical, and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• NLP and Machine Learning:

  • Apply knowledge and expertise in NLP and machine learning to achieve project goals and deliver results.

• Computer Programming:

  • Utilize computer programming skills, including proficiency in programming languages, computer science, and scientific computing.

• Computer Analytics Architecture:

  • Contribute to projects involving computer analytics architecture, such as distributed computing and modern databases.

• Collaborative Team Environment:

  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Establish and maintain professional networks with subject matter experts.

• Technical Advisory Role:

  • Serve as a direct contributor and key technical advisor in defining project roadmaps.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field.

• Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience related to statistical analysis, machine learning models, and programming.

• Self-Motivation:

  • Self-motivated and driven to satisfy intellectual curiosity through continuous learning and skill development.

• Statistical Models:

  • Experience working with a diverse range of statistical models, including but not limited to linear/logistic regression, clustering, classification, support vector machines (SVM), neural networks, Random Forest, CRF, Bayesian models, supervised/unsupervised learning, etc.

• NLP Techniques:

  • Knowledge of Natural Language Processing (NLP) techniques such as POS Tagging, NER, Semantic Role Labelling, etc.
  • Proficient working experience with at least one NLP framework (e.g., Stanford NLP, Apache OpenNLP, Mallet, Ling pipe, NLTK).

• Information Extraction:

  • Deep knowledge and experience in Information Extraction, both structured and unstructured data.
  • Expertise in Knowledge Information Retrieval and Knowledge Representation.

• Deep Learning (Desirable):

  • Desirable if the candidate has knowledge of Deep Learning (ANN, CNN, RBM).
  • Experience in NLP Deep Learning, specifically related to Word2Vec, Thought Vectors.
