WHAT YOU'LL DO

• As a member of the Social Impact Practice Area (SI PA), play a pivotal role in advancing BCG’s commitment to positive global impact.

• Execute and coordinate operational support for the Global Impact Investment Fund and Practice Area Finances.

• Independently support investment processes and provide business intelligence for the Social Impact PA, including:

  • Engaging stakeholders to gather insights for data-driven decision making across various use cases.

  • Collaborating with topic managers and Finance departments to forecast revenue and business momentum based on investment data, YTD status, and pipeline.

  • Analyzing the composition of PA portfolio across parameters such as region, system, topic, and business.

  • Monitoring and developing key performance indicators (e.g., NCC, price points, global and local investments, win rates) in collaboration with local, regional, and global stakeholders.

• Utilize latest technology and best practices for efficient data management and visualization.

• Maintain dashboards, provide ad hoc financial reporting, and manage PA resources.

• Support various ad hoc activities including investment operations, budgets/business reporting, business analytics, and impact analytics.

YOU'RE GOOD AT

• Business and financial reporting and analysis.
• Data analytics including mining, scrubbing, and visualization.
• Utilizing popular data analysis tools and databases.
• Defining relevant metrics and influencing stakeholders with actionable insights.
• Executing tasks independently and problem-solving with a forward-thinking mindset.
• Developing judgment and thinking analytically through alternatives.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data visualization using Tableau (Tableau Desktop and Server); Tableau certification a plus.
• Strong analytics concepts and experience applying them in past projects.
• Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing, and working with large data sets.
• Professional experience in building robust data pipelines using ETL tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional, service-oriented, proactive, and flexible attitude.
• Proficiency in Outlook, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel.

YOU'LL WORK WITH

• Coordinate closely with Global SI Investments and Business Intelligence Senior Manager, Global Practice Management Director, sector/topic Managers, Business Services team, and Practice Area Coordinators within and across practices.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Practice Area Management & Operations team members contribute directly to BCG’s success through roles such as content development, process management, marketing, meeting and conference management, and internal/external communications.
