Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data science in enhancing financial service applications.
  • Educate and advise teams on the potential of data science and manage expectations accordingly.
  • Analyze large datasets and implement data-driven solutions, ensuring deployment and effectiveness.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, statistics, engineering, applied mathematics).
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Java, Python, R, and shell scripting languages.
  • Strong skills in querying relational, non-relational, and graph databases.
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark, MapReduce, Pig, and Hive.
  • Familiarity with machine learning libraries (preferably in Python), deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, and visualization tools.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with source control and deployment tools like Git and Jenkins is a plus.
