Job Description
Responsibilities
As an Engineer specializing in Data Analytics Engineering, your core responsibilities include:
1. Integration and Maintenance of Data Pipeline
- Ensuring end-to-end data pipeline functionality, maintaining data quality and consistency from source systems to target repositories.
- Continuous monitoring and optimization of data pipelines for peak performance and efficiency.
2. Support for Critical Data Processes
- Providing support for essential data processes running in production environments, ensuring seamless operations.
3. Collaboration and Documentation
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, to comprehend data requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Documenting data engineering processes, data flows, and architecture to ensure clarity and transparency.
Qualifications
Academic Background
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in building data engineering pipelines and DevOps for Machine Learning (ML) applications.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Pyspark/Python and SQL for data engineering and transformation.
- Experience in designing and deploying data applications on cloud solutions like Azure or AWS, Edge, and Dockers.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins for applications.
- Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and data integration.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively understand requirements and take action accordingly.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, particularly in a big data environment.
