Analyst- Commercial Cross-Sell Analytics Role Description
Overview
The ‘Commercial Cross-Sell Analytics’ team is part of the Analytics, Investment and Marketing enablement (AIM) group within GCS (Global Commercial Services) Marketing at American Express. This team is responsible for leading innovative analytics across Sales and Marketing channels for the US SME segment to drive internal acquisitions with increased and sustainable engagement levels.
Responsibilities
Alignment and Framework Development:
- Partner closely with functional/channel owners to align on the Cardmember value (CMV) framework to ensure consistency within Business unit (GCS Prospect) and across BU (US Consumer Services).
- Explanation: Establishing alignment on the CMV framework ensures that the metrics used for evaluating customer value are uniform across different business units, allowing for coherent decision-making processes and strategies.
Financial Collaboration:
- Collaborate with finance to build robust behavioral inputs for investment optimization that are consistent across Prospect and Customer.
- Explanation: Working with the finance team to integrate robust behavioral data ensures that investment decisions are based on comprehensive insights, promoting effective allocation of resources and maximizing returns.
Strategic Development:
- Develop CMV framework in-line with broader offer personalization and Sentinel (anti-gaming) strategies.
