Profile Overview

The Senior Data Scientist role at Myntra is a dynamic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge data science solutions that drive revenue and enhance customer experiences. As part of a collaborative team, you will leverage your expertise to develop and deploy machine learning models across various domains, including Myntra Storefront and Supply Chain. Qualifications

• Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, and efficient processing of large datasets.
• Strong command of Python programming language.
• Preferable publications demonstrating expertise in the field.
• 2-4 years of experience with MTech, MS by Research, or PhD in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering, or post-graduate degree in Statistics, Operations Research, or Mathematics.
• Experience in developing efficient Time Series and forecasting solutions.
• Familiarity with large-scale nonlinear & integer programming algorithms and optimization solvers (CPLEX, Gurobi, COIN-OR, etc.).
• Knowledge and skills in:
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP): Ability to develop models for language understanding and generation.
  • Computer Vision: Proficiency in interpreting images and videos, including object identification and classification.
  • DevOps: Understanding of DevOps principles for deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.
  • LLM and GenAI Models: Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and Generative AI (GenAI) models, including prompt engineering, model evaluation, optimization, and deployment.
• Domain expertise in a specific industry or field, facilitating better understanding of data and business requirements.
• Awareness of ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop data science and machine learning models for Myntra Storefront, Supply Chain, and other relevant areas.
• Implement machine learning life cycles, including model deployments.
• Demonstrate theoretical understanding and practical application of machine learning concepts, specializing in areas such as Time Series, Forecasting, NLP, Computer Vision, and Optimization.
• Collaborate with Product and Business teams to translate problems into machine learning models.
• Liaise with Platforms and Engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of predictive models.
• Work closely with Data Platforms teams to comprehend and gather relevant data.
