Profile overview:

As a Data Analyst at Target, you'll be part of a dynamic team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts, contributing to the development of tools and data products that empower business partners to make informed decisions. You'll leverage advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to derive actionable insights from large datasets. Your role will involve collaborating closely with business/product teams, identifying key metrics, building reporting solutions, and conducting ad-hoc analysis to support decision-making processes. Additionally, you'll play a vital role in driving continuous improvement, sharing best practices, and contributing to the overall analytical acumen of the organization.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech with 2-3 years of relevant experience, or M.Tech, M.Sc., MCA with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferred candidates will have strong domain knowledge and experience in Supply Chain/Retail.
• Proficiency in data analysis, including pattern inference, root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills for writing complex queries.
• Hands-on experience with analytics tools such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Python, R, and Domo.
• Experience collaborating with product teams and business leaders to develop roadmaps and features.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguity, recognize dependencies, and deliver impactful solutions through logical problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Intellectual curiosity, high energy, and a strong work ethic.
• Comfortable dealing with open-ended problems in support of supply chain operations.
