- Department: Global Risk and Compliance, functioning as the second line of defense.
- Role Focus: Model & non-model tool governance, automation solutions, and strategic initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analytics & Dashboard Creation: Utilize data analytics to derive insights for better decision-making.
- Regulatory Interaction Management: Manage interactions with U.S. financial regulators and internal audit teams.
- Reporting: Prepare aggregate model risk assessment reports for senior management and regulatory agencies.
- Automation: Automate the creation of various model-related MIS reports.
- Strategic Initiatives: Participate in high-impact risk management projects and strategy design.
- Inventory Review: Conduct systematic reviews of model & non-model tool inventories.
- Usage Metrics Review: Regularly review and address issues related to tool usage metrics.
- Collaboration: Work with technology teams to implement new capabilities.
- Compliance: Stay updated with industry regulations and standards.
- User Support: Act as a contact point for user support, resolving queries and issues promptly.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Experience in software development, particularly in creating automation tools and dashboards.
- Proficiency in Python; experience with web scraping, Excel macros/VBA, and creating GUIs is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Risk & Financial Management Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge in risk and financial management.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical documents and regulatory guidelines clearly.
Project Management: Exceptional multitasking and project management skills.
Teamwork: Superb teamwork abilities to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders globally.
Microsoft Office: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Attention to Detail: Extremely high attention to detail.

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree: In management or science fields such as statistics, finance, decision science, economics, or related areas.
