Profile overview
As a Trust & Safety Data Analyst at Booking Holdings Bangalore, you'll be integral to our mission of making travel more accessible worldwide. Collaborating with a diverse team, you'll leverage your analytical skills to provide valuable insights and support decision-making across various business areas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, economics, bioinformatics, etc.)
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistics
- Familiarity with programming/scripting languages such as SQL and either Python or R
- Strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex analysis results clearly
- Experience using data analysis and visualization tools like Tableau, Data Studio, PowerBI, Mixpanel, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
- Attention to detail and analytical reasoning
- Experience working remotely or with large operations is preferred
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver parts of data analytics solutions based on business requirements
- Independently work on consuming and preparing data for analytical use
- Translate business problems into data stories and provide insights for decision-making
- Collaborate with operational and project-based teams, presenting data insights effectively
- Embrace existing internal data analytics approaches while growing technical proficiencies
- Support junior peers through knowledge sharing and setting a good example
- Network and connect with peers beyond the team's scope
- Ensure the quality of work through peer review
Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistics
