  • Purpose of the Role:

    • As a Decision Scientist - Associate at FedEx, your primary role will involve collaborating with cross-functional and cross-regional teams to perform data analysis, forecasting, and strategy implementation. You will provide crucial requirements to data scientists and technology teams and engage with global stakeholders to enhance the customer experience.
  • Key Responsibilities:

    • Analyze customer behavior data across various regions to identify actionable insights.
    • Develop and refine machine learning models to predict future trends and behaviors.
    • Design controlled experiments to test new strategies and measure their impact.
    • Collaborate with leadership to contextualize data trends and performance metrics.
    • Oversee the end-to-end system, from problem identification to solution delivery.

    • Expertise in programming languages such as R, Python, SAS, and tools like R Shiny, KNIME, and DataIku.
    • Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
    • A Master’s degree in a relevant specialization is preferred.
