Key Responsibilities
Data Pipeline Management
- Build and manage ADF pipelines for CI/CD processes ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
- Configure multi-stage pipelines across development, testing, and production environments.
- Track and monitor pipeline health, performing corrective actions to maintain optimal performance.
- Design and implement monitoring processes for both system and pipeline health.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, including SQL databases and third-party APIs to support various operational and reporting needs.
- Set up infrastructure for ETL processes using Azure and MS SQL technologies.
- Identify and execute automation tasks within the ADF framework to improve process efficiency.
- Configure Azure Monitor to track essential metrics, logs, and alerts for Azure resources.
SQL Operations
- Run and manage SQL programs within Azure environments to maintain data accuracy and performance.
- Handle query optimization and troubleshoot issues within relational databases.
Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
- Conduct root cause analysis and debugging to address application performance issues.
- Collaborate with the Azure IT team to resolve issues related to memory usage and performance bottlenecks.
- Ensure minimal downtime by providing rapid response to critical system errors.
Logs & Monitoring
- Create and enforce monitoring rules and alerts for system reliability.
- Analyze logs from Azure resources to identify and mitigate performance issues.
- Implement logging solutions for CI/CD processes to ensure smooth system operations.
Testing & Validation
- Carry out testing and validation of data pipelines and infrastructure to ensure readiness for production deployment.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to conduct functional, performance, and regression testing.
Security & Access Management
- Coordinate with IT to manage access controls, updating permissions as necessary and overseeing user management.
- Maintain detailed documentation of current pipelines, security settings, and refresh processes.

- Participate in architecture reviews and audits to suggest enhancements and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate on developing a unified Azure transformation strategy, focusing on governance, security, automation, and operations.

Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Technical Skills
- Relevant Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate (or equivalent).
- Experience with Azure DevOps for managing CI/CD processes, including pipeline setup and monitoring.
- Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL Database.
- Strong foundation in ETL processes and data integration methods.
- Familiarity with Azure Log Analytics for querying and analyzing logs from various Azure resources.
