Profile Overview:
- The Analytical Data Operations (ADO) team at Verisk’s ISO division ensures the effectiveness of the largest P&C insurance database in the US.
- ADO focuses on refining data to support pricing in the US property and casualty (P&C) insurance market.
- The team consists of data analysts, engineers, BI developers, and actuarial experts collaborating on various data operations.
- Core responsibilities include data ingestion, integration, transformation, analysis, and BI development.
- The team is dedicated to improving the analytics platform that underpins critical US P&C industry products.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or related areas.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL and MS Office for daily operations.
- Experience with programming languages like C++, Java, Python, or R.
- Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage concurrent projects effectively.
- Eagerness to explore technology and maintain a growth mindset.
Preferred:
- Prior experience in property/casualty insurance or data-focused roles.
- Familiarity with data management principles and BI/data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Power BI, and Sigma is advantageous.
