Profile Overview

  • Role and Scope:
    • The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with the Database Manager and other stakeholders to support the WD Affordable Equity team.
  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Design, maintain, and optimize databases to support the department’s objectives.
    • Facilitate integration between FileMaker and other systems as per departmental requirements.
    • Build data models and packages for extracting, transforming, and loading data across platforms.
  • Skills Utilized:
    • SQL proficiency for database functions, query optimization, and performance tuning.
    • Strong analytical abilities to troubleshoot and streamline data processes.
    • Collaboration skills for engaging with users, understanding needs, and providing customized solutions.
  • Work Environment:
    • Flexible hours, generally from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with hybrid remote work options.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • Equivalent professional experience in data management and database design is also acceptable.
  • Technical Proficiencies:
    • Familiarity with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) and SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS).
    • Experience with Excel functions, such as vlookups and pivot tables, for data manipulation.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Prior experience with FileMaker is preferred but not mandatory.
    • Proficient communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
