Profile Overview
- This role is part of the Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) division, specifically within the Risk Oversight organization.
- The Analyst will work in the International Enterprise Risk Management Center of Excellence (CoE).
- Responsibilities include identifying, aggregating, and escalating risks across proprietary business operations in international markets.
- Key risk areas include Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Market Risk, Liquidity & Funding Risks, Conduct Risk, Reputational Risk, and Strategic Risk.
- The role involves developing risk management policies, dashboards, and reporting tools while collaborating with international leadership teams.
- The position offers opportunities to contribute to risk strategy formulation and reporting for international legal entities, ensuring adherence to established risk appetites.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in tools and technologies such as SAS, SQL, Hive, Python, R, and BigQuery is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and connect disparate risks effectively.
Regulatory Knowledge
- Comprehensive understanding of banking regulations and industry standards.
Professional Experience
- Solid business and risk acumen with an ability to maintain a balance between risk and reward.
- Proven experience in managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.
Leadership and Communication Skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management capabilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to confidently communicate risk observations and findings to colleagues and senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Risk Management and Oversight
- Develop and implement risk tolerance limits and risk appetite metrics for major risk types.
- Identify and analyze emerging risks in line with the organization's risk appetite framework.
- Monitor the aggregate risk profile of international legal entities and initiate actions to ensure adherence to established limits.
Policy Development and Reporting
- Support the formulation of risk management policies, practices, and control mechanisms.
- Create dashboards and reporting tools for effective monitoring of key risks across geographies.
- Provide regular updates to Legal Entity boards, International leadership, and Risk leadership teams.
