Profile Overview
The Data Scientist I will play a critical role in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining advanced predictive, prescriptive, and statistical models.
The role emphasizes areas such as originations, collections, risk, pricing, fraud, customer experience, and marketing.
Responsibilities include utilizing expertise in forecasting, optimization, data mining, and analysis to analyze complex datasets.
Conducting advanced studies using descriptive and supervised machine learning methods and statistical techniques is a key responsibility.
The position also involves summarizing and presenting findings to internal stakeholders and collaborating with different departments to align with company objectives.
The role requires producing research and analysis to quantify portfolio performance influenced by internal and external factors.

Responsibilities

Strong foundation in mathematics, probability, and statistics with demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills.
Expertise in applied methodologies, including:

Linear programming techniques
Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Python, SAS, SQL, R, JMP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience with technical systems, datasets, data warehouses, and data analysis techniques.
Capable of handling large datasets efficiently.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for senior management.
