Profile Overview :
As a Data Scientist at Micron Technology, you will take on a pivotal role in harnessing the power of data to optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will involve analyzing complex datasets, uncovering insights, and driving process improvements to enhance product quality and yield.
In this role, you will perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on manufacturing data, including wafer fabrication, yield, and defect rates. Leveraging machine learning techniques, you will develop predictive models for process optimization, employing methods such as regression, classification, and clustering.
Collaboration will be key as you work with cross-functional teams, including engineers, physicists, and domain experts, to understand manufacturing challenges and translate them into data-driven solutions. Additionally, you will utilize visualization tools to present findings effectively and communicate actionable insights.

Qualifications :
Education:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Data Analytics, Data Science, or a related field.
Practical experience in areas such as Virtual Metrology, AI, process control, yield improvement, quality control, or semiconductor process engineering.
Background in image analytics or similar semiconductor-focused fields is advantageous.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Python and machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, clustering, decision trees).
Familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas.
Experience with SQL, database management, and web applications.
Strong understanding of feature extraction, modeling, and anomaly detection.
Technologies and Tools:
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Ansible.
Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Streamlit.
Expertise in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud and OpenShift Container Platform.
Soft Skills:
