Profile Overview

  • OneOrigin is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join its team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
  • The primary role of the Data Analyst is to transform raw data into actionable insights that guide business decisions and improve processes.

    • Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and insights that add value to business operations.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and address organizational data needs.
    • Create and maintain databases, dashboards, and reporting tools to ensure efficient data-driven decision-making.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Interpret complex datasets to provide actionable insights and ongoing reports for stakeholders.
  • Use statistical techniques to analyze data and identify meaningful patterns and trends.
  • Collaborate with management to prioritize information needs and recommend actionable strategies.

Data Management and Optimization

  • Develop and implement efficient data collection systems, databases, and analytics strategies.
  • Ensure statistical efficiency and data quality through effective database management.
  • Acquire and process data from both primary and secondary sources to support organizational objectives.

Trend Identification and Process Improvement

  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets to drive process improvement initiatives.
  • Suggest and implement innovative methods to enhance data analysis workflows.
  • Define and prioritize opportunities for improving existing processes and systems.

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • A Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields is preferred:
    • Mathematics
    • Economics
    • Computer Science
    • Information Management
    • Statistics

Technical Expertise

  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst (internship experience also works)
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data segmentation techniques.
  • Proficiency in working with data analysis tools, including:
    • Reporting packages such as Business Objects
    • Databases like SQL
    • Programming frameworks such as XML, JavaScript, or ETL systems

Statistical and Analytical Skills

  • Knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical analysis tools, including:
    • Excel
    • SPSS
    • SAS
  • Ability to interpret datasets and create detailed reports based on findings.

Communication and Presentation Skills

  • Adept at query building, report writing, and presenting data-driven insights to diverse audiences.
