Profile Overview:
The Data Scientist – Forecasting (Machine Learning) position at Lowe's offers an exciting opportunity to lead advanced machine learning projects in a collaborative and innovative environment. Qualifications:
- Strong experience in developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Proficiency in maintaining pipelines for training and deploying ML models.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with data scientists, data engineers, and product managers.
- Solid understanding of scalable, flexible, and maintainable solutions that align with business requirements.
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art machine learning technologies and trends.
- Expertise in SQL and programming languages.
- Experience in forecasting or predictive modeling is a plus.
- Background in mathematics, statistics, physics, economics, computer science, data science, or related fields is desirable.
- Strong presentation and storytelling skills for communicating data insights effectively.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
