Profile Overview:
As a Data Scientist – Product Supply, you will play a pivotal role in driving P&G’s transition into the Fourth Industrial Revolution by harnessing intelligent, connected technologies. This position offers the chance to innovate, optimize, and enhance manufacturing processes and systems on a global scale.

Responsibilities:
Key Duties:
- Serve as a technical leader supporting innovation projects within the operational unit (OU).
- Lead and deliver solutions to complex manufacturing challenges, leveraging advanced analytics and data science tools.
- Collaborate with innovation teams to explore new platforms, machine control mechanisms, and data processing techniques.
- Develop and execute analytic projects to address critical business needs and operational challenges.
Core Activities:
- Design predictive and prescriptive models to optimize process control strategies, reduce operational effort, and improve product quality.
- Partner with process and equipment experts to identify and analyze relevant data for modeling and decision-making.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve data models and pipelines to support analytical capabilities across multiple global sites.
- Establish methodologies for deploying predictive modeling architectures, alarming systems, and reporting frameworks.
- Conduct external research to identify emerging technologies and methodologies that could accelerate the journey toward smart manufacturing.
- Diagnose and resolve performance issues with prognostic models to ensure optimal outcomes.
Innovation and Collaboration:
- Use advanced analytics and reliability engineering techniques to minimize losses and enhance productivity.
- Create visualizations and user-friendly dashboards to facilitate effective decision-making and improve user experience.
- Apply modern IT security principles to protect analytical systems and data integrity.
Qualifications:
Educational Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields:
- Computer Science
- Computer/Systems Engineering
- Business/Management Information Systems
- Operations Research
- Statistics
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in data preparation, processing, and analysis to derive actionable insights.
- Strong expertise in statistical and mathematical modeling for structured and unstructured data.
- Familiarity with programming languages and tools such as Python, R, SAS, MATLAB, Power BI, Tableau, and Azure ML.
- Knowledge of data architecture concepts, including relational databases, big data management, and data warehouses.
- Technical understanding of mechatronic systems combining mechanical, electrical, and control engineering principles.
Experience:
- Hands-on experience in advanced analytics, big data, and machine learning techniques.
- Proven ability to design data visualizations for improved decision-making.
- Knowledge of Agile project management frameworks such as SCRUM or Kanban, with experience in DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- Expertise in data engineering tools, including Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and KNIME.
