The Associate Data Scientist role is a key position within AbbVie’s US Commercial Organization.
The role involves collaborating with experienced data professionals to develop innovative data solutions.
The candidate will engage in building datasets, designing machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) models, and supporting data-driven business decisions.

Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Engineering, Operational Research, Computer Science, or Mathematics (Master’s degree preferred).
1-3 years of experience in data analysis, data engineering, or predictive/simulation modeling.
Prior experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry is advantageous.
Proven expertise in developing ML/AI models for real-world applications.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based big data environments such as AWS, GCP, or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with analytical workflow tools such as Dataiku or Alteryx.
Strong knowledge of algorithmic design and analytical experimentation.
Proficiency in Python and SQL is essential; experience with BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau is a plus.
Strong understanding of data manipulation and analysis libraries for fast iteration and experimentation.
Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and fast-paced team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Additional Information :
This position falls under locations with pay disclosure requirements, and salary is determined based on several factors, including location and experience.
The expected salary range for this role is between $91,500 and $173,500.
Compensation packages include comprehensive benefits such as paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick leave), medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) contributions.
The job is eligible for short-term incentive programs to reward performance and contributions.
Compensation elements such as bonuses, commissions, and incentives are at the company’s discretion and subject to modification.
